Planet Leasing Limited is a credit broker and not a lender.
We introduce customers to a limited panel of vehicle funders, leasing companies, dealerships and other product providers. We do not provide independent financial advice.
The finance or consumer hire agreement, where applicable, is entered into between you and the relevant funder. Planet Leasing Limited is not a party to that agreement unless expressly stated otherwise.
Planet Leasing Limited may receive commission, a fee or other financial remuneration from a funder, dealership or other product provider when an agreement introduced by us proceeds.
The amount and basis of this remuneration may vary depending on the funder, vehicle, product, type of agreement and the commercial arrangements in place. In some cases, no commission may be payable.

Where commission is payable, this commission is included within the funder’s pricing calculation and contributes to the initial rental and monthly rental, as shown in your quotation and Order Form.
The initial rental and monthly rental stated in your quotation and Order Form are the amounts you will pay under the relevant agreement, subject to the funder’s final acceptance and the terms of that agreement.
Planet Leasing Limited does not set or negotiate the interest rate payable under an agreement.
For Personal Contract Hire and other consumer-hire agreements, you do not own the vehicle and the vehicle is normally returned to the funder at the end of the agreement.
You may ask us for the amount of commission, fee or other remuneration payable to Planet Leasing Limited in relation to your proposed agreement.
If you request this information, we will provide it in writing in good time before you enter into a regulated credit agreement or regulated consumer-hire agreement.
The precise amount is normally known to us when your quotation is prepared. If for any reason it is not known, we will provide the likely amount or explain when the precise amount will be confirmed.
Planet Leasing Limited can provide you with the amount, or likely amount where the precise amount is not yet known, of any commission, fee or other remuneration payable to us in relation to your proposed agreement.
The funder is also expected to disclose this information in its agreement documentation when you enter into the agreement. This funder disclosure is additional to, and does not replace, your right to request the information from Planet Leasing Limited before entering into the agreement.
We will discuss your requirements, including your vehicle preferences, intended use, mileage, contract term, budget, initial rental preference, maintenance requirements and delivery needs.

We do not select or recommend a funder solely because it pays Planet Leasing Limited a higher level of commission.
We aim to provide clear information to help you make an informed decision. You remain responsible for deciding whether the agreement is suitable for your circumstances.We may receive income from a dealer and/or manufacture for the supply of a vehicle. Sometimes the amount is dependent on selling a quantity of vehicles.
We receive commission for introducing you to a manufacturer’s finance company usually through a main dealer who in turn introduces you to the funder. The commission that we receive from the dealer may be made up from commission that they receive and/or part of the profit that they have in the sale of the vehicle.
We may receive income from a dealer and/or manufacture for the supply of a vehicle. Sometimes the amount is dependent on selling a quantity of vehicles.
Planet Leasing Limited charge a standard arrangement fee of £300 including VAT, which we detail in the Information Notice and Initial Disclosure Document, for broking and order-administration services.
Any applicable fee, including VAT where relevant, will be shown clearly in your quotation and/or Order Form before you place an order.
This fee is separate from any commission or other remuneration paid to Planet Leasing Limited by a funder or other provider.
