Tesla`s Supercharger programme is rolling out across the UK , with plans to open up the sites to non-Tesla Electric vehicles.
This will include 15 stations in the UK comprising of 158 chargers in all , and there will be a membership fee scheme to access lower pricing, of around £10 per month.
The plan will hopefully encourage more drivers to go Electric as this gives a lot more choice of fast chargers (150 KW) that are located in strategic positions across the UK, therefore offering more reliable charging than the current fairly unstable networks offer.
Teslas plan will allow faster expansion of additional charge sites as the network will be utilised a lot more than it is currently with only the single brand charging offer.
